ABSTRACT: The COVID-19 pandemic has created significant challenges for safeguarding the rights of children and adolescents. Education, for example, has been profoundly affected by school closures and the digital divide, making equitable access to learning difficult for many students. In addition, young people's mental health has suffered due to social isolation and the lack of emotional support. The pandemic has also contributed to increased levels of domestic violence and child abuse. Addressing these challenges requires coordinated efforts among governments, institutions, and organizations to ensure that children continue to have access to education, emotional support, and protection. This crisis serves as a reminder of the importance of building a society that values and safeguards the well-being and rights of future generations.
