ABSTRACT: The experience of “Emergency Remote Education” has yielded valuable insights that have transformed how teaching is conceived and approached. This modality, driven by the need to sustain the educational process during crises, has highlighted both challenges and opportunities in the field of education. One of the main lessons learned has been the importance of adaptability. The abrupt transition to online education revealed the necessity of having robust and flexible contingency plans that enable educators to adjust rapidly to changing circumstances. Furthermore, it has encouraged educational institutions to explore new ways of facilitating learning and communication through technological resources and digital platforms. Collaboration and communication have emerged as essential factors. Both teachers and students have been challenged to maintain clear and consistent communication to ensure a smooth educational process. The importance of peer interaction and personalized feedback has also gained relevance, underscoring the need to find innovative ways to foster participation and dialogue in a virtual environment. Educational equity has been a constant concern. “Emergency Remote Education” has exposed inequalities in access to technology and educational resources. This experience has prompted reflection on how to ensure that all students, regardless of their circumstances, can access quality online education and receive the support necessary for their learning.
