Resumen
El documento contiene un extracto de los conceptos básicos de la teoría de Jean Piaget: la Epistemología Genética. Entre estos conceptos, destacan:
* El Constructivismo: El sujeto es el constructor de su conocimiento.
* Asimilación y Acomodación: El sujeto elabora sus conocimientos a través de intercambios activos con su medio ambiente. Por asimilación, se integran los estímulos del medio a la estructura cognitiva ya constituida. Su complemento, la acomodación, reorganiza los instrumentos intelectuales.
* Cocimiento Físico, Social y Lógico -Matemático: El sujeto conoce a través de abstracciones.
* Esquemas y Estructuras: Acción permanente sobre los objetos. Sistema de transformaciones.
* Equilibrio: Autorregulación.
* Aprendizaje: ritmo-regulación-operación.
Asimismo, se enfatizan estos puntos en su aplicación a la enseñanza de la matemática.

Its complement, accommodation, reorganizes the intellectual instruments. * Physical, Social and Logical-Mathematical Knowledge: The subject knows through abstractions. * Schemes and Structures: Permanent action on objects. Transformation system. * Balance: Self-regulation. * Learning: rhythm-regulation-operation. Also, these points are emphasized in their application to the teaching of mathematics.
