ABSTRACT: The purpose of this research is to analyze the role of the reform to the indigenous education subsystem (Executive Decree No. 37801-MEP), through the experiences of indigenous teachers within the territories of Quitirrisí and Salitre, in order to synthesize the results generated by the decree, from a critical intercultural perspective. The phases of the investigation allowed ordering and contrasting the development of the field work from virtuality, as well as the gradual advances based on the changes and definitions determined by the health conditions. Therefore, the investigation was carried out as follows: • Information collection: this was carried out through semi-structured or structured interviews through the Zoom® platform. • Information classification: The Collected information was grouped and then classified according to the established analysis categories. • Information encoding: From the verbally obtained transcription, a reduction to text was performed. • Information integration: This would be the proportion of the information analysis in which schemes were built and information grouped to try to evidence or display the knowledge and experiences around the subject from the vision, the opinion and the perceptions of the people who were invited to be part of the research was taken into account. The key subjects-informants were the people with whom we worked with to develop the necessary evidence for the investigation, in this case they were indigenous teachers, but also people in charge of the MEP and some students who were very interested in talking with the research team . The sample was made up of 14 teachers and/or the administrative staff from the Salitre and Quitirisí areas in addition to 5 experts from the Interculturality Department of MEP . Among the conclusions are the following: It becomes necessary a permanent exchange to understand or at least to tune into what interculturality is, how it is understood and how the concept can be put into practice, since it is a construct that deserves study, investigation and contact with the people who are within it. the territories. This will allow the different actors to gradually transform the ways of seeing, perceiving and understanding, based on dialogical and transformational approaches from a critical perspective that, without a doubt, also the theory and the findings allow the exchange and the approach to others. The theoretical itinerary reflects that in Latin America, situated education is necessary from the people who are in the educational system in the indigenous territories where a parity is established between education and the real vision of these people and not only the "Western" vision.
