Vinculaciones nacionales y regionales: Centroamérica y República Dominicana, para fortalecer la recopilación de las producciones bibliográficas en educación.

Abstract

Este trabajo tuvo por objetivo general fortalecer la base de datos Producción Bibliográfica de la Educación Costarricense, mediante el establecimiento de vínculos e información de instituciones nacionales de Centroamérica y República Dominicana. La metodología fue muy operativa y consistió, básicamente, en mantener y fortalecer el vínculo con las instituciones nacionales productoras de información que desde hace varios años nos apoyan enviando listados de su producción en temática educativa para mantener actualizada la base de datos referencial y, como segunda parte, hacer una exploración a nivel de Centroamérica y República Dominicana e indagar si algunas instituciones les gustaría ser parte del proyecto. Finalmente, entre los resultados se pueden mencionar: La base de datos Producción Bibliográfica de la Educación Costarricense es accesible desde el portal de servicios del INIE y pone a disposición de la comunidad nacional e internacional en un solo sitio la mayor cantidad posible de información nacional en el tema educativo. Contiene la producción en temática educativa de la Universidad de Costa Rica, Universidad Nacional, Universidad Estatal a Distancia, Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica, Ministerio de Educación Pública, Fundación Omar Dengo, Programa Estado de la Educación. Esta base de datos cuenta a la fecha con 3331 referencias bibliográficas, las cuales también incluyen tipo de documento, signatura topográfica y la biblioteca donde se puede localizar el material. Conforme ha ido avanzando el proyecto se ha obtenido más apoyo de las bibliotecas a las que anualmente se les solicita los listados con la producción en temática educativa con el fin de actualizar la base de datos.

ABSTRACT:The general objective of this work was to strengthen the Bibliographical Production of Costa Rican Education through the establishment of links and information from national institutions in Central America and the Dominican Republic. The methodology was very operational and it basically consisted in maintaining and strengthening the link between national institutions which produce the information and who have supported us for several years by sending us lists of their production on educational topics in order to keep the referential database updated. As a second aspect, exploring at a Central America and the Dominican Republic level and investigating if some institutions would like to be a part of the project. Finally, among the results, the following are mentioned: The Bibliographical Production database of the Costa Rican Education is accessible from the INIE service portal, and puts as much national information on educational issues as possible in one site for the availability of the national and international community. It contains the production on the topic of education of the University of Costa Rica, National University, State University at a Distance, Technology Institute of Costa Rica, Ministry of Public Education, Omar Dengo Foundation, and State of Education Program. This database has to date 3331 bibliographical references, which also include document type, topographic signature and the library where the material can be found. As the project has been progressing, more support has been obtained from the libraries from whom the lists with the educational production were requested in order to update the database.
