Familia Cabécar: estructura y funcionalidad, su incidencia en la promoción de la participación familiar en las escuelas cabécares de Chirripó.

Abstract

La investigación tiene como objetivo: Determinar la estructura y funcionamiento de la familia cabécar de Chirripó, para promover la participación familiar en las escuelas de este territorio mediante un proceso investigativo. Para la elaboración de este estudio, se contemplaron como sujetos de información, población docente y familias del estudiantado de estas escuelas del Distrito de Chirripó que brindan educación inicial en el territorio, específicamente: Cinco docentes del Programa de Lengua y Cultura Cabécar de Chirripó, Cinco docentes regulares de las escuelas cabécares de Chirripó, Cinco personas adultas Cabécares que tengan niñas o niños matriculados en una escuela del territorio que ofrece el servicio de educación inicial. Además se incluirán: Tres personas cabécares, Asistentes Técnica de Atención Primaria de Salud (ATAPS). Para el estudio, se van a seleccionar personas de la etnia cabécar bilingües, que hablen fluidamente tanto el idioma cabécar como el español. El aporte de información para el proyecto, será en español. La técnicas utilizadas fueron : revisión documental, entrevistas, cuestionarios y grupos de enfoque. Algunas de las conclusiones son las siguientes: La participación de familias en los centros educativos de Chirripó, no se aborda como una acción o programa integral planificado de la gestión escolar, sino más bien como un conjunto de acciones individuales desarrolladas durante el ciclo escolar para atender objetivos específicos, usualmente ligadas a las conmemoraciones del año escolar. En la planificación de los eventos de participación familiar en las escuelas del territorio cabécar de Chirripó es importante: la comprensión de las prácticas y usos del grupo humano cabécar para generar acciones pertinentes con la organización social y cultural de la comunidad. considerar que la mayoría de las personas de la familia se dedican a labores agrícolas en lugares alejados de sus viviendas, además que generalmente estás se ubican a grandes distancias con respecto a la escuela, por lo que la convocatoria a las actividades debe realizarse con anticipación. Es importante, mediante una negociación con las autoridades políticas del territorio armonizar el calendario escolar con las celebraciones comunales. Además que la escuela mantenga una comunicación fluida con la organización comunal de manera que le permita desarrollar objetivos institucionales en actividades o acciones propias de la comunidad. El profesorado de las escuelas cabécares de Chirripó, con sus experiencias de participación en las actividades comunales a las que le sea permitido asistir puede nutrir el trabajo de aula con la recuperación de estas experiencias.

ABSTRACT: The objective of the research was to determine through an investigative process the structure and functioning of the Cábecar family of Chirripó in order to promote family participation in the schools of this territory. For the elaboration of the study, it was considered as subjects of information to the teaching population and families of the students of these schools of the district of Chirripó that provide initial education in the Territory, specifically: five teachers of the Cábecar language and Culture Program of Chirripó, five teachers from the Cábecar schools in Chirripó and five Cábecar adults who have girls or boys enrolled in a school in the territory which offers this initial education service. In addition, three Cábecar people and technical assistants for Primary Health Care (ATAPS for its acronym in Spanish) were included. On the other hand, for the study, people of the Cábecar ethnicity who are fluent in both Cábecar and Spanish were selected. Thus, the contribution of information for the project will be in Spanish. Finally, the techniques used were: document review, interviews, questionnaires and focus groups. Some of the conclusions of the project are as follows: The participation of families in the Chirripó educational centers is not addressed as a planned comprehensive action or program of school management, but rather as a set of individual actions developed during the school year to meet specific objectives usually linked to commemorations of the school year. In the planning of the events with family participation in the schools of the Cábecar territory of Chirripo, what is important is: understanding the practices and customs of the Cábecar human group to generate pertinent activities with the social and cultural organization of the community. considering that most people in the family are engaged in agricultural work in places away from their homes, and that they are generally located at great distances from the school, so the call for activities must be done in advance. It is important to note that by negotiating with the political authorities of the territory, harmony between the school calendar with communal celebrations can be achieved. In addition, the school maintains a fluent communication with the community's organization so as to enable it to develop institutional objectives in activities or tasks of the community. The teachers of the Cábecar schools of Chirripó, with their participation experiences in the community activities to which it is allowed to attend, can nourish the work of classroom by reinstating these experiences.
