Resumen
El objeto de esta investigación es la evaluación de los proyectos de innovación e investigación educativa llevados a cabo en los países centroamericanos en el marco del programa “Apoyo al Mejoramiento de la Formación Inicial de Docentes de la Educación Primaria o Básica en Centroamérica”, desarrollado por la Coordinación Educativa y Cultural Centroamericana y la Embajada Real de los Países Bajos.
El documento tiene tres capítulos donde se desarrollan los temas de: Contexto de la evaluación, se incluye
la información correspondiente a objetivos, marco conceptual y diseño metodológico para llevar a cabo las
propuestas evaluativas; Análisis y resultados, se incluyen las características generales de los proyectos de investigación e innovación educativa. Además se presenta el estudio realizado por el equipo de evaluadoras a los once proyectos de investigación educativa, organizados por país; y Consideraciones generales, se presenta la reflexión final del equipo de evaluadoras en torno a los proyectos analizados.
Los objetivos de la investigación son:
• Valorar el impacto y la influencia potenciales que podrían tener los resultados e los proyectos ejecutados,
en los formadores y en la formación inicial de docentes en sus propios países y en la región en general.
• Valorar el papel que jugó, en el desarrollo de los proyectos la supervisión ejercida por la Dirección del
proyecto, la coordinación nacional del proyecto y los supervisores nombrados para proyectos de investigación.
• Valorar el impacto e influencia posible en los resultados de los proyectos de innovación pedagógica en la
actualización profesional de los maestros centroamericanos
Los resultados más importantes fueron:
• Las propuestas de investigación educativa incorporaron sectores sociales y regiones que denotan marcadas
necesidades educativas y socioeconómicas, según el contexto de cada país.
• Algunos de los proyectos de investigación tienen calidad técnica y claridad conceptual. Asimismo se
proyectan hacia una formación integral del ser humano, capas de crear y trasformar su contexto.
• Hay sentimiento generalizado de que las propuestas de investigación educativa se amplíen, se continúen
y se divulguen a nivel nacional y regional para que tenga impacto en la formación inicial de docentes
ABSTRACT: The purpose of this research is the evaluation of the innovation and educational research projects carried out in the Central American countries within the framework of the program “Support for the Improvement of the Initial Training of Teachers of Primary or Basic Education in Central America”, developed by the Central American Educational and Cultural Coordination and the Royal Embassy of the Netherlands. The document has three chapters where the topic of: Evaluation context are developed, information corresponding to objectives, conceptual framework and methodological design to carry out the evaluation proposal is included; Analysis and results, the general characteristics of educational research and innovation projects are included. In addition, the study carried out by the team of evaluators is presented to the eleven educational research projects, organized by country; and General considerations, the final reflection of the evaluation team about the projects analyzed is presented as well. The objectives of the research are: • To assess the potential impact and influence that the results and projects executed could have on the trainers and on the initial training of teachers in their own countries and in the region . • Assess the role played, in the development of the projects, the supervision exercised by the Project Management, the national coordination of the project and the supervisors appointed for research projects. • Assess the impact and possible influence on the results of pedagogical innovation projects in the professional updating of Central American teachers The most important results were: • The educational research proposals incorporated social sectors and regions that denote marked educational and socio-economic needs, according to the context of each country. • Some of the research projects have technical quality and conceptual clarity. They also project themselves towards an integral formation of the human being, layers of creating and transforming their context. • There is a widespread feeling that educational research proposals are expanded, continued and disseminated at national and regional levels to have an impact on initial teacher training.
