II Congreso Internacional de Investigación Educativa: su incidencia en la realidad social.

Abstract

El Instituto de Investigación en Educación (INIE) realizó el II Congreso Internacional de Investigación Educativa: su incidencia en la realidad social, en febrero de 2011. Dicho evento tuvo como propósito fundamental abrir un espacio propicio para el intercambio, la discusión, el análisis, la crítica, la innovación y las alianzas, para pensar en una sociedad más humana para todas aquellas personas que, cotidianamente, comparten y participan del aprender como uno de los derechos más importantes a nivel mundial. Durante los tres días de actividades, se abordaron temáticas relacionadas con: pedagogía, didáctica, evaluación, currículo, educación y proceso socio-culturales, tecnologías de la información en educación, los medios de comunicación social, la investigación educativa y trabajos interdisciplinarios en educación. El objetivo general del proyecto fue analizar los resultados de las investigaciones educativas producidas en el último quinquenio, así como su incidencia en las transformaciones del sector educativo nacional e internacional. Algunas de las conclusiones del proyecto son las siguientes:

La reflexión generada en este espacio académico, evidencia, una vez más, la complejidad de los retos y desafíos actuales en torno a la formación de los seres humanos. Esta formación requiere profundas transformaciones, si queremos construir una sociedad democrática pacífica, justa y solidaria. Durante esta actividad se discutieron tópicos y, en este documento, se plantean algunas consideraciones generales que permiten orientar cambios en los procesos educativos formales, no formales e informales. Estas consideraciones surgen de las conferencias, mesas redondas, ponencias y los talleres, y finalmente de las reflexiones y comentarios que se ofrecieron en las diferentes actividades. También se discutieron procesos investigativos realizados en los últimos años, así como su impacto en cuanto al mejoramiento de la educación formal, no formal, informal, desde la educación preescolar hasta la universitaria.

ABSTRACT: The Research Institute in Education (INIE) held the II International Congress of Educational Research: its impact on the social context in February 2011. The fundamental purpose of this event was to create a space conducive to having exchange, discussion, analysis, critique, innovation and partnerships which would think in a more humane society for those who on a daily basis share and participate in the learning as one of the most important rights at a global level. During the three days of activities, the topics addressed were related to: pedagogy, didactics, assessment, curriculum, education and socio-cultural processes, information technologies in education, social media, educational research, and interdisciplinary work in education. The general objective of the project was to analyze the results of the educational research produced in the last five years, as well as its impact on transformations of the national and international educational sector. Some of the findings of the project are the following:

• The reflection from this academic gathering is evidence once more of the complexity of the current challenges regarding education. This education required deep transformations if it is sought to build a democratic, peaceful, just and caring society. • At the time these activities, topics were discussed, and several general considerations are proposed in this document which allows to target changes in the formal, non-formal and informal educational processes. These considerations arise from the conferences, round table discussions, lectures, and workshops, and finally, from the reflections and comments offered in the different activities. • There was also discussion of the research processes in the past years, as well as their impact in terms of improving formal, non-formal and informal education from Preschool to university.
