Resumen
Constituyó un esfuerzo por presentar un estado de la cuestión en cuanto al desarrollo de la investigación en lo relativo a gestión de la educación superior. Además de la gestión, el otro núcleo fundamental a confrontar en los hallazgos fue la pedagogía universitaria.
El estudio que se propuso fue de tipo exploratorio y descriptivo. Se consideró un marco temporal de 5 años:
trabajos planteados entre 2005 y el I semestre de 2009. Se recabó información respecto a las investigaciones u otro tipo de proyectos que se han hecho (o estén en proceso) a nivel universitario, relativos al cambio, desarrollo y gestión de la educación superior. Se acudió a las distintas Vicerrectorías de la Universidad de Costa Rica y a algunas de las personas encargadas y/o participantes de los proyectos; también se consultó las investigaciones del mismo Instituto de Investigación en Educación (INIE).
La información que se requirió para hablar del estado de la investigación en la Universidad de Costa Rica, en cuanto al cambio, desarrollo y gestión de la educación superior, fue recabada en documentos digitales y físicos proporcionados por distintas personas en la Vicerrectoría de Acción Social, en la Vicerrectoría de Investigación, y en el Instituto de Investigación en Educación.
Se muestra evidencias de los resultados y constitución de planes, proyectos e investigaciones en gestión de la educación superior y pedagogía universitaria.
ABSTRACT: It represented an effort to present a state of the art regarding the development of research in relation to the management of higher education. Besides, the management, the other fundamental nucleus to confront in the findings was the university pedagogy. The study which was proposed was exploratory and descriptive. A temporary framework of 5 years was considered: work planned between 2005 and the first semester of 2009. Information was collected regarding research or other projects that have been made (or are in process) at the university level, related to change, development and management of higher education. We visited the different Vice-rectories of the University of Costa Rica and to some of the people in charge and / or participants of the projects; the researches of the same Institute of Research in Education (INIE) were also consulted.
